The First National Bank of Suffield's Free Shred Day in Windsor Locks

The First National Bank of Suffield
will host its second 2013 Community Shred Day for their customers and residents
of Suffield, West Suffield, East Granby and Windsor Locks on Saturday, September
14, 2013. The event will be held at the Bank’s Windsor Locks office at 6
National Drive from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

A mobile shredding truck will be on
hand to shred up to two boxes or bags of personal documents per household for
free. Bank employees will also be available to answer questions and offer
advice on information security.

The First National Bank of Suffield
is committed to helping people fight identity theft. Our Shred Day lets area
residents conveniently and safely dispose of their personal papers—as opposed
to putting them in the trash or recycling, where they can easily be stolen.

Bank President Nancy Viggiano says of the event, “The
First National Bank of Suffield continues to support the towns of Suffield,
East Granby and Windsor Locks through community involvement, donations to a
number of local charitable organizations, special events and financial
education. Our Shred Day addresses an ever-increasing threat—identity theft—and
is aimed at helping the residents of our communities protect themselves from
becoming victims.”
