Citizens Restoring Congamond was founded in the 1970&#39;s by a group of lake residents concerned about the condition of the Congamond Lakes.  Since then, CRC has joined forces with Suffield and Southwick town governments so that each (Suffield, Southwick, and CRC) pays one third of the cost of treating the lakes for invasive weeds and whatever other threats come along.  As a result, the lakes are enjoyed by all for fishing, boating, and swimming.  <br> <br>One of the projects of CRC is the Babb&#39;s Restoration Project.  It has a separate treasury and a separate treasurer from CRC, and the money we receive from fundraisers specifically for Babb&#39;s and donations for Babb&#39;s and grants for Babb&#39;s go directly to the Babb&#39;s Restoration Project.  Money raised for CRC goes toward the lake.  Work on the Babb&#39;s Project does not in any way detract from our mission to keep the lakes clean and safe.  When the Babb&#39;s restoration is complete, monies raised from the use of the building will be used as a constant fundraiser for the lake.  <br> <br>Our ongoing fundraiser at and for Babb&#39;s is our summer concert series beginning on July 10th.  Every Sunday afternoon from July 10 through August 29 we will have a live band performing on our stage at Babb&#39;s, outdoors.  Please bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us from 2-5 pm.  If you are a vendor and would like to buy space to sell your wares or services, please contact Jerry at (860) 668-5783.  If you would like to sponsor our concerts, either as a family or as a business, for one concert, more than one, or for the whole series, please also contact Jerry.  Admission is free, donations gratefully accepted.
