Leeanne Griffin has been a journalist in Connecticut for the past six years, first as a website producer for the New Haven Register and The Hartford Courant, and now as a freelance food writer for The Courant. She is the author of the A La Carte dining blog on CTnow.com. A 2003 graduate of Assumption College in her hometown of Worcester, Mass., she came to the Nutmeg State to attend graduate school at Quinnipiac University. She earned a master's degree in journalism in 2006 and now teaches at the university as an adjunct professor. Before coming to Connecticut, she was the assistant director of public affairs at Assumption College and also freelanced for several Central Massachusetts lifestyle and entertainment publications. Leeanne is passionate about good food and wine and chronicles her dining and cooking experiences on her personal food blog, Fun With Carbs.
