Egg Hunt, Bunny Visit, Biz Expo At SHS Sunday

Two distinct and interesting events happen at Suffield High School on Sunday, April 1.

Two amazing events will take place on Sunday, April 1 at .

The Welcome Spring Egg Hunt and Bunny Visit, hosted by the Friends of Suffield, and the Suffield Business Expo, sponsored by the Suffield Chamber of Commerce, will offer fun for all ages. Both events take place the same day, but have different hours and totally different – yet appealing – activities.

The Welcome Spring Egg Hunt and Bunny Visit will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and is perfect for families with young children. Activities at the two-hour event include: A bunny visit (don’t forget your camera!); an egg hunt; egg races and games; face painting; spring kids’ crafts; a dance party and a petting Farm, featuring live, local farm animals.

Animals will be located outside the high school’s front entrance. All other activities at the event will take place in the school’s gymnasium.

The Suffield Business Expo will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will offer attendees the opportunity to find out more about local businesses. The event will feature special promotions and offers; a silent auction; a crafters’ corner; food and beverages; and live music.

This five-hour event, also occurring in the high school gymnasium, will help you get to know more about the businesses right here in our community.

Both events are free and open to the public. So whether you’re 8 years old or 88 years old, make plans to stop by this fun-filled event.
