This summer's Open Mic competition was tough, with nearly 60 acts vying for the top spot during the contest's six week run. The winners from each week returned for Tuesday's finale, and included a mix of guitarists, vocalists, keyboard players, and bands.

The first week's winner, keyboardist/vocalist Bryson Dulack, who is also supported by the ATS&O, was unable to participate in the finals due to travel.

The full house enthusiastically received Flashback's three songs, especially when Ronnie Augeri showcased his talent with a spellbinding ad-lib drum solo in the middle of the band's signature piece, "I Wish" by Stevie Wonder.

The unanimous decision of the judges, echoing the audience's vote, put Flashback into the record books for the theater which is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Performing on stage were Josh Karam, Ronnie Augeri, Dakota Doney, Briana Boruassa, Katie Carson, Zack Pullen, and Emily Masi.

This fall, Flashback will be appearing at several area events, including Suffield on the Green, the Harvest Festival at , and the Rays of Hope Cancer Walk in Massachusetts.
