The more things change the more they stay the same, and that's just how Suffield likes it when it comes to the annual Fireman's Carnival.
A tradition for more than 50 years, the annual fundraiser for the Suffield Fire Department is a scene many return to year after year for good old-fashioned fun.
The firefighters cook up burgers, dogs and fried dough, and fire departments from nearby come over for a parade down Mountain Road. Fireworks top off the event.
