Suffield/Windsor Locks/East Granby Football Cheerleading Fundraiser Happens Sunday

A car wash held by the Suffield/Windsor Locks/East Granby Raiders cheerleaders will raise money for their uniforms, travel expenses and more prior to the team's first home game.

The Suffield/Windsor Locks/East Granby Raiders football cheerleaders are holding a car wash fundraiser Sunday.

The car wash happens at HARP Mechanical, 483 Spring St., Windsor Locks, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prices are low, as a car wash costs $6 and Truck and SUV owners pay $8 to get their vehicles clean. The cheerleaders will also have a bake sale, providing a treat to attendees waiting to have their cars washed.

The cheerleaders are raising money for pompoms, bows, uniforms, travel expenses and more in advance of the team's first home game of the season. The Granby Bears head to Suffield on Saturday, Oct. 1, the first home game in Suffield in the program's history.
