The two Suffield Little League Fall Ball teams faced each other in a playoff game Wednesday night in Enfield at Asnuntuck Community College. The game ended with a 7-3 score with the winner moving onto the next sequence of playoffs this weekend.
In other news, the Little League fall cleanup will take place Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Christian Field complex on Hale Street. Volunteers are needed to help clean the fields, take down netting and signs, and otherwise prepare the complex for its winter hibernation. Children willing to work are welcome, and the bonus is that such volunteering will help accumulate community service hours.
