Pancake Breakfast to Support Suffield High School Boys Lacrosse Team's Seneca Nation Trip

The Suffield High School Wildcats boys lacrosse team is hosting a pancake beakfast fundraiser at the Suffield Senior Center (145 Bridge Street) on Saturday, March 3, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $8 each.

The team is raising money for its spring training and cultural trip to the Seneca Nation territories, which features the team's annual box lacrosse scrimmages.

Besides the practices and games, the team will learn about the Seneca Nation's lifestyle and history, experience ceremonial dances, and partake in a traditional meal including corn, beans, squas, and deer and bear meat.

Most of the cultural part of the trip was made possible through a student authored mini-grant from the Suffield Foundation for Excellent Schools.

Please come out and support the team in the beautiful Suffield Senior Center facility with good company and a good breakfast.
