Suffield High School Teams to Compete in State Tournament Action

Three Wildcat squads qualified for postseason play.

Three varsity teams from Suffield High School have qualified for state tournament play, beginning this week.

The official tournament brackets will not be released until Tuesday, but based on the current rankings, one team is likely to have a first-round home game, while the other two will draw first-round byes.

  • Boys soccer (15-1), currently seeded second in Class M, will likely have a first-round bye.
  • Girls soccer (14-0-2), currently seeded third in Class M, will likely have a first-round bye.
  • Field hockey (11-5), currently seeded seventh in Class S, will likely host Westbrook on Thursday, Nov. 8.
