Suffield High School Musical Debuts This Weekend

Students at Suffield High School present Once Upon A Mattress beginning Friday night.

Bring the whole family to the 2012 Drama Club's production of Once Upon A Mattress. A hilarious adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's The Princess And The Pea, this classic is lots of fun for all ages.

The SHS auditorium will be transformed into a royal kingdom on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 at 7:30 p.m., and on Sunday, May 6 at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $7 and $5 students and seniors. Great story, great music and great laughs, this is one fairy tale you won't want to miss!

Stephanie Holland is the director and Christine Hoffacker is the musical director. The principal performers are Kelly Costello, who plays The Queen, Josh Karam, who plays Prince Dauntless, and Micaela Tracey, who plays Princess Winnifred. Also, Kelsey Tustin plays Lady Larken, Nick Leahey plays Sir Harry, Andre Toussaint plays the Minstrel, Doug Vormstein-Schneider plays the King, Emily Brooks plays the Wizard and Kevin Kulas plays the Jester.
