SFES Announces Sidewalk Chalk Contest Winners

A sidewalk chalk contest sponsored by Suffield Foundation for Public Schools inspired creativity and community.

Sunny skies set the backdrop for the first-ever sidewalk chalk contest sponsored by Suffield Foundation for Excellent Schools May 19.

Works of art filled various parking lot spots, creating swirls of color and creativity in SFES' new event aimed at broadening awareness in the community.

"We had a great day for the first and hopefully annual sidewalk chalk contest," said organizer Lori Sych. "All 17 participants seemed to all have a great time creating wonderful works of art."
