Charges are just -- Labels, labels, labels! That is what these arrests are -- a label with a name, time, and place! How humiliating for a person that may or may not have done the crime--whatever it is! It appears we are picking up revenue for the state and pretty good "Look-See" gossip for the Patch -- most popular site I hear? That tells me how power has over come intelligence! A very mean bad man said "if you see something -- tell on family & neighbors" Today, the same ad runs on a TV electronically -- "if you see something -- say something -- even if it is not there"! How ironic -- we have come so far -- yet so little! Fear & curiosity will keep the Patch in this section popular -- everyone loves a good story -- fiction or not! These larceny, assault, & burglary stores must make everyone want to move here to Suffield --- huh? Even, the local police are investigated so often they make it in the patch and news everywhere ...Maybe we should ask ourselves?... Where are we going with this gossip - does the court need to know or does the public opinion need to be notified first???? I guess I just do not get all this news about real people and the pain it can cause them .. if they did wrong -- take it up in court not in a patch--- for everyone to debate or blog over something they have no idea about except a line or two of what actually may or may not have happened!
