Easter Weekend at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church’s Holy Week observances continue of Saturday, April 7, at 2:00 p.m. with an Easter Egg hunt on the church lawn (weather permitting).  If there is inclement weather, the hunt will take place inside the church facility.  The Easter Egg hunt is a reminder of the women who went to the tomb, early on the first Easter morning, but did not find Jesus' body in it.

The Holy Week observances culminate of Easter Sunday, the high, festival day of the Church Year, on  April 20 at 10:30 a.m., with the proclamation, "Christ is risen!  He is risen, indeed!"  Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will celebrate Jesus' Resurrection with traditional Easter hymns and the celebration of Holy Communion.
