Potholes, Tournament Qualifiers and the Tooth Fairy: Suffield's Daily 5

Good morning, Suffield! Today is Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013; there are 306 days left in the year.

1. On the Suffield Patch Facebook page, Community Manager Elyssa Millspaugh asked Wednesday, "Are there potholes in town that need fixing? If so, where are they specifically located?" Please indicate those locations in the comments section below this column.

2. Congratulations to the Suffield-Granby-Windsor Locks ice hockey co-op team, which defeated Rocky Hill-RHAM-Middletown 6-3 on Wednesday to qualify for the Division II state tournament. In the Class M boys basketball tournament brackets announced Wednesday, Suffield is seeded number 22, and will play Monday at 7 p.m. at 11th-seeded Goodwin Tech.

3. Feb. 28 is National Tooth Fairy DayNational Chocolate Souffle Day and National Public Sleeping Day.

4. The National Weather Service forecast for Suffield calls for rain and snow showers Thursday, becoming all rain after 10 a.m., with a high temperature of 45. Thursday night will be cloudy with rain and snow showers likely, and a low of 33.
