May 26: Flowers and More Flowers

Oxen Hill Farm CSA is selling four o'clock flower seeds to raise money for the Petit Family Foundation and Suffield High Vo-Ag students will place flowers on the graves of veterans this morning.

1. It will be sunny today, with a high of 84 °F. The wind will come from the south at speeds between 6 mph and 13 mph. It will be partly cloudy tonight with an overnight low of 63 °F. The wind will come from the south at speeds between 5 mph and 10 mph. Wind gusts may reach 20 mph tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Suffield High School vocational agricultural students and area war veterans will place flowers on the graves of veterans at cemeteries in Suffield this morning. Look for the full story later on Suffield Patch.

3. The Cpl. Stephen R. Bixler memorial picnic takes place this Sunday. Tickets cost $15 and provide attendees with access to food, music, community and fun, with proceeds going to fund various town and community projects through the Cpl. Stephen R. Bixler fund. Find out more here.
