1. Suffield High School boys basketball will travel across the bridge to Enfield Monday for the second round of the NCCC tournament. Game time is 7 p.m.

2. The Suffield Zoning and Planning Commission will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall meeting room. Among the agenda items is a request for a 3-lot subdivision on Hickory Street.

3. Feb. 25 is National Clam Chowder Day, National Chocolate-Covered Peanuts Day and Pistol Patent Day (Samuel Colt of Hartford received a patent for the pistol on this date in 1836).

4. The National Weather Service forecast for Suffield calls for mostly sunny skies Monday, with a high temperature of 43. Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a low of 25.
