Hall of Fame, Board of Finance and Johnny Appleseed: Suffield's Daily 5

1. A pair of outstanding individuals with strong Suffield ties have been elected to the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Cookie Bromage and Robert Cecchini for this well-deserved honor. An interview with Mrs. Bromage is being published on Suffield Patch this morning, and we have emailed Mr. Cecchini to request an interview.

2. The Suffield Board of Finance is scheduled to meet Monday in the police station conference room at 7 p.m. Meeting agendas are posted in the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall. 

3. March 11 is Johnny Appleseed Day, Worship of Tools Day and Oatmeal Nut Waffles Day.

4. The National Weather Service forecast for Suffield calls for partly sunny skies Monday, with a high temperature of 52. Monday night will be mostly cloudy with a chance of late showers, and a low around 39.
