Local Coolant Business Profiled by Terry Bradshaw

The Suffield office of Evans Cooling Systems will be featured on Today in America, a syndicated business and lifestyle television program hosted by Terry Bradshaw, Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and current NFL analyst.

Bradshaw and the show's producers are featuring Evans Cooling Systems as part of a series on environmental impact, according to a press release from Marketwire. The company's products are waterless coolant systems, focused on reducing both pollution byproducts and engine maintenance.

The Suffield branch of Evans Cooling Systems, located in the office building at 1 Mountain Road, involve the company's heavy-duty diesel sales and marketing and engineering departments.

"Engines need to last longer, as do all the components of the engine cooling system, while operating more efficiently and improving fuel economy," said company founder Jack Evans in the Marketwire press release.

Evans pointed out the non-corrosive nature of the cooling systems, which significantly reduce wear and tear on engine components. The waterless system also removes the need for conventional ethylene glycol coolants, which are toxic. Evans said that his company's coolant systems will lead to vehicles that require little to no coolant system maintenance.

Bradshaw, the host of Today in America, has had an 18-year career as a television football analyst following his successful 14-year stint as a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He provides a familiar voice for viewers of the program.

The segment on Evans Cooling Systems will air in April in the New York and Albany areas. Check the Today in America website's schedule to find more showings and streaming video options.

Bradshaw, who won four Super Bowls with the Steelers in the 1970s, is the second person with multiple Super Bowl victories to visit Suffield in the past year. Bill Belichick, who won five Super Bowls with the New York Giants and New England Patriots, gave the keynote address at Suffield Academy's graduation ceremony in May 2011.
