High and Low Fuel Prices for Sept. 6
Find the best deals in north central Connecticut and the surrounding area, along with the highest prices, here.
Connecticut residents are paying an average of $3.95 per gallon of gas Tuesday, 29 cents more than the national per-gallon average of $3.66. Drivers in the greater Hartford area are paying an average of $3.88 per gallon.
Connecticut gas prices remain the second highest in the nation. Hawaii’s $4.11 average per-gallon price is the country’s highest.
The national per-gallon average rose 3 cents since Thursday, Sept. 1. The Connecticut state average rose 2 cents in the same period, according to AAA.
