High and Low Fuel Prices for Sept. 15

Connecticut residents are paying an average of $3.93 per gallon of gas Thursday, 31 cents more than the national per-gallon average of $3.62. Drivers in the greater Hartford area are paying an average of $3.84 per gallon.
Connecticut's average per-gallon price remains high, underneath Alaska's, California's and Hawaii’s prices as the fourth highest in the nation.
The national per-gallon average fell 2 cents since Tuesday. The Connecticut state average fell 1 cent, according to AAA.
