High and Low Fuel Prices for Sept. 13

Connecticut residents are paying an average of $3.94 per gallon of gas Tuesday, 30 cents more than the national per-gallon average of $3.64. Drivers in the greater Hartford area are paying an average of $3.87 per gallon.
Connecticut's average per-gallon price remains high, underneath Alaska's, California's and Hawaii’s prices as the fourth highest in the nation.
The national per-gallon average fell 2 cents since Friday, Sept. 9. The Connecticut state average fell 1 cent, according to AAA.
