High and Low Fuel Prices for Sept. 1
Find the cheapest and most expensive prices for gasoline in north central Connecticut and the best deals in the surrounding area.
Connecticut residents are paying an average of $3.93 per gallon of gas Thursday, 30 cents more than the national per-gallon average of $3.63. Connecticut gas prices remain the second highest in the nation. Hawaii’s $4.10 average per-gallon price is the country’s highest.
The national per-gallon average rose 2 cents since Tuesday, Aug. 30. The Connecticut state average similarly rose 2 cents in the same period, according to AAA.
Take a look at the highest and lowest gas prices in the area, as well as the lowest prices in bordering Massachusetts towns. All prices are for regular unleaded gasoline, reported to gasbuddy.com during the past 48 hours. Prices may vary.
