High and Low Fuel Prices for July 8
Find the cheapest and most expensive prices for gasoline in north central Connecticut and the best deals in the surrounding area.
North central Connecticut has fuel prices comparable with the state per-gallon average price of $3.91 along with some opportunities to spend less.
The average per-gallon price for gasoline in Connecticut is down 10 cents from $4.01 on June 8. Connecticut residents are paying 33 cents more per gallon than the national average of $3.58.
The average fuel price in Connecticut has increased more than 25 percent since gas was priced at $2.87 per gallon in July 2010.

South Carolina continues to have the lowest average price per gallon in the country at $3.32, while Alaska has the most expensive fuel on average at $4.09 per gallon.
Take a look at the highest and lowest gas prices in the area, as well as the lowest prices in bordering Massachusetts towns. All prices are for regular unleaded gasoline, reported to AAA and gasbuddy.com during the past 48 hours. Prices may vary.
