Cup of Joe: Andrea Sullivan

Moxy Boutique owner Andrea Sullivan is fitting into Suffield just fine.

In the time since Andrea Sullivan opened Moxy Boutique in Suffield, customers have given her a nickname: Andie.

“It’s funny that’s my name here (in Suffield),” she said. “Nobody’s ever called me that.”

She takes it as a sign that things are going well.

“It’s only been a year and I appreciate everybody who’s supported the store and helped me out with so many things,” she said. “I’ve grown to love this town.”

It’s a place she and partner Todd Gallis call home after a lifetime of living everywhere from Michigan to Florida to Germany and Sweden.

“My favorite lunch is Zanto’s soup almost every day,” she said. “It’s homemade by the owner.”

Sullivan’s fine jewelry and clothing boutique on Mountain Road in the CVS Plaza is gaining a following. An expert in fine jewelry, her passion, she’s added more clothing to the small and personal boutique.

“I focus on quality made with nice material. Items that are different and you’re not going to see other places,” she explained.

Sullivan is excited about the winter and the holiday season (and not just because she’s loves to snowski). She is open seven days a week in December and will soon hold a wine and cheese Holiday Open House. She said to check the store’s Facebook page for the date. https://www.facebook.com/pages/MOXY-Boutique/235087953211305?v=info
