Chamber of Commerce Office is Moving

The business organization, which serves Suffield, East Windsor, Enfield and Somers, is relocating its office to Scitico area of Enfield.

The North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce will soon be operating from a new location.

The business organization is moving its base from 73 Hazard Ave., adjacent to First Niagara Bank, to 585 Hazard Ave., next to the Scitico Plaza, Executive Director Ed LaMontagne said in a news release Wednesday morning. The move will be effective Dec. 1, 2011.

"The new location provides all the benefits of the current office, while increasing office space and ease of access for the community," LaMontagne said in the release. "The new office includes a large conference room which will be made available for Chamber member use. The Chamber will also be developing a Member Business Services program, which will provide added benefits to Chamber members. The move will also allow the office to update their systems, including computer and telephone systems, and to increase the utility of the office space for members."
