1. University of Saint Joseph professor Dennis Barone will read from his book Garnet Poems: An Anthology of Connecticut Poetry Since 1776 on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Kent Memorial Library.

2. Suffield Patch is scheduled to cover Tuesday's three-way track meet at Suffield High School, as the Wildcats take on SMSA and Granby.

3. April 23 is National Zucchini Bread DayLover's Day and Take a Chance Day.
