Good morning, Suffield! Today is Friday, April 19, 2013; there are 256 days left in the year.

1. Pamela Baldini of Suffield was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Baldini is pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Connecticut.
2. The 2012 film Les Miserables, rated PG-13, will be screened Friday at the Kent Memorial Library at 1:30 p.m.
3. April 19 is Garlic Day, National Hanging Out Day and National Amaretto Day.
4. Friday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon showers, and a high temperature near 73, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Friday night will be breezy with showers and a possible thunderstorm, and a low around 51.
