Kids Ride, Open House and Penguins: Suffield's Daily 5

Good morning, Suffield! Today is Thursday, April 25, 2013; there are 250 days left in the year.

1. Suffield youths will band together on Saturday, May 11 for the second annual Suffield PMC Kids Ride. Last year's event was a great day; with more than 80 riders the event raised over $11,400. The event is hosted at McAlister Intermediate School and welcomes riders ages 3 to 15 to participate and collect donations from family and friends. For more information, visit www.kids.pmc.org/suffield.

2. An open house will be held Thursday at the Bridge Street School from 7-9 p.m.

3. April 25 is World Penguin Day, East Meets West Day and Take Your Daughter to Work Day.

4. Thursday will be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 64, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 36.
