Five things Suffield residents should know for Monday, May 6.

Good morning, Suffield! Today is Monday, May 6, 2013; there are 239 days left in the year.

Here's your Daily 5:

1. The Tobacco Valley Chambers Alliance is holding a networking event Tuesday, May 7 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hatheway House Barn, 55 South Main St., Suffield. For only $5, appraisers from Golden Gavel will evaluate your collectibles and antiques. In addition, the historic 18th century Phelps-Hatheway House will be open for tours. There will be raffles, food, refreshments and lots of networking opportunities at this fun event.

2. On Saturday, May 18 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., the Around Town Singers and Orchestra is putting on the biggest and most impressive show in their five year existence with "Around Town Heads to Broadway!" at the Suffield Middle School auditorium. Call the box office (860) 386-5154 or email the ATS&O at tickets@aroundtownsingers.org for tickets. Watch a sneak peak of the show here: http://youtu.be/lVWOO9az6P0

3. May 6 is National Crepe Suzette DayNational Tourist Appreciation Day and National Nurses Day.

4. Monday will be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 72, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Monday night will see increasing clouds, with a low around 45.
