This year will mark the 19th year that the Suffield Interfaith Council has sponsored a community event to observe the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year marks the 82nd birthday of Dr. King and the 26th national holiday in his honor.

The keynote speaker will be the Rev. Hopeton A. Scott, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport and serves on the Council of Churches' Board of Directors.
