Five things Suffield residents should know for Thursday, April 18.

Good morning, Suffield! Today is Thursday, April 18, 2013; there are 257 days left in the year.

Here's your Daily 5:

1. The Suffield Players will present a free reading of Fabuloso, a play by John Kolvenbach, Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Kent Memorial Library.

2. A lacrosse doubleheader is on tap Thursday evening as Suffield High School entertains NCCC rival Ellington. The girls play at 5:15 p.m., and the boys follow at 7 p.m. In other sports action, the baseball and softball teams both play host to Bolton at 3:45 p.m.

3. April 18 is National Animal Crackers DayInternational Jugglers Day and National Columnists Day.

4. Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 63, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 50.
