College Award, High School Sports and Administrative Professionals Day: Suffield's Daily 5
Five things Suffield residents should know for Wednesday, April 24.
Good morning, Suffield! Today is Wednesday, April 24, 2013; there are 251 days left in the year.
Here's your Daily 5:
1. Kelsey L. Bentz of Suffield was recognized at an Honors Day Ceremony at the University of Vermont on April 19, 2013. Bentz received the Triona Wilder Marno-Ferree Memorial Award, presented by the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
2. The Suffield High School baseball team hosts Granby Wednesday at 3:45 p.m., while girls lacrosse entertains Berlin at 7 p.m. Boys golf, softball and girls tennis are all on the road Wednesday.
3. April 24 is Administrative Professionals Day, National Pigs in a Blanket Day and National Walk at Lunch Day.
4. Wednesday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 74, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Wednesday night will be cloudy with a chance of showers, and a low around 46.
