1. A Contemporary Art History Workshop will be held Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Kent Memorial Library.

2. Bonnie Malley of Suffield, executive vice president and chief financial officer of The Phoenix Cos. Inc., has been selected one of eight recipients of the Hartford Business Journal Women In Business Award. Malley and the other honorees will receive their awards at a May 2 luncheon at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.

3. April 10 is National Sibling Day, Golfer's Day and National Cinnamon Crescent Day.

4. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, and a high temperature near 73, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Wednesday night will be rainy, heavy at times, and a low around 48.
