3 Things to Know About Patch Blogs

You started a blog. Now what?

1. You can delete comments from your blog. Get an inappropriate comment? Once click and it's gone.

2. Now, people can follow your blogs. They can do that after they read your posts, if you include a tagline at the end of each post like this: If you like our blog and don't want to miss our posts, click here [INSERT LINK TO CUSTOMIZE] and then click "Get email updates." Patch will automatically forward our posts to your email address. More proactively, you might consider sending that link to your main blog page to your email list and asking them to subscribe by clicking "get email updates."

3. You can designate a follower as a contributor.  And if you want someone—a colleague, or other members of your organization or anyone you feel appropriate—to be able to post in your blog, you can make them contributors. When you're logged in, you should see a little icon that looks like a gear that says "Settings" and that's where you can make those changes. You'll still have the ability to approve each post before it goes live, if you wish.
