To date, monies already donated and pledged by church members for improving the church facility and making it more energy efficient total over $120,000. The Reverend Eric Fistler, minister at WSCC said with the money raised so far, a new roof, sidewalks, insulation and exterior doors with handicapped access have been completed. “We are in the process of purchasing additional land and adding more parking for our congregation and community members who use the church facilities on a regular basis. Our plan also includes adding new windows, exterior painting and updating the sanctuary sound system. Our church is proud to sponsor both Boy Scout Troop 66 and Cub Pack 66. It is also home to the Crossroads Food Pantry that serves about 100 families each week and we host other groups in the community. We are striving to maintain our facilities in a cost effective manner so that we can continue to be a place for the community to meet.”

Anyone seeking more information about the church and its programs is encouraged to contact Pastor Eric at pastoreric@westsuffielducc.org or call the church office at 860-668-2271.
