Theatre Guild of Simsbury Presents 'Almost, Maine' Featuring Suffield's Amy Rucci

SIMSBURY, CT – The Theatre Guild of Simsbury (TGS) presents ALMOST, MAINE, directed by Karen Sidel and produced by Doreen Cohn. The production runs from Saturday, April 5 to Sunday, April 13 at Eno Memorial Hall, 754 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury.

At times quirky, whimsical, sweet, and bittersweet, this heartwarming play showcases the residents of the remote, mythical town of ALMOST, MAINE: ordinary, hardworking people who are impacted by love in a variety of ways on a cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter. With the otherworldly northern lights as a backdrop, hearts will be broken and mended and love will be lost and found.

ALMOST, MAINE, which just completed its Off-Broadway revival, premiered in 2002 and originally opened Off-Broadway in 2006. The TGS production of ALMOST, MAINE features Suffield resident Amy Rucci as Marvalynn/Marci and a cast of 12 additional gifted and artistic actors.
