A riveting portrayal of one of English history’s most fascinating married couples, The Lion in Winter is alive with wit, humor, passion and intrigue. Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine scheme to get their respective favorite sons in line for succession, while the sons have ideas of their own. Delicious as well as malicious fun awaits the audience as Henry, Eleanor and sons plot against each other, and ultimately discover the love that unites them in spite of everything.
