CT Valley Views Receives State Grant
CT Valley Views has received a State of Connecticut Public, Educational and Governmental Programming and Educational Technology Investment Account (PEGPETIA) Grant to purchase state of the art video and audio equipment. Program Host, Susan Regan notes that this award further validates the diversity and value of their Public Access show series and the contribution to Connecticut and its communities. CTVV has recently received two national video awards for program quality: “Evil in Our Midst-Child Trafficking” and “Hill-Stead Museum - The Legacy”.
According to Producer Bill Regan, the new High Definition widescreen cameras, teleprompter and wireless audio will significantly add to the production quality of the upcoming program schedule. “Having this equipment readily available will enable us to schedule events as they happen and book interviews on our timetable”.
Both Susan and Bill Regan wish to thank the six Public Access stations that carry CT Valley Views-Cox Enfield, Win-TV, Simsbury, Nutmeg, West Hartford and Hartford, as well as premier sponsor Windsor Federal Savings. “It is through their support that our program reached the level of success it has thus far”.
CT Valley Views can be seen on Cox Public Access Channel 15, Fridays at 6:00 PM an at their website www.ctvalleyviews.com .
