Tell Us About Your Favorite Chicken Wings
Share your favorite spot in time for the Super Bowl.
Way back when, chicken wings used to be a throwaway part of the bird, or in the summer, bait for crabs. Now they're one of the most iconic Super Bowl party foods and the subject of much debate.
Wings can be fried with a crisp coating or rubbed with spices and baked. They range from mild to so earth's-core hot that you won't taste food for a week. We now have traditional and boneless, and there are as many flavors of wings as there are cuisines.
So where's the best place in Central Connecticut to get wings, and is that where you'll be for the Super Bowl?
Each Tuesday, Patch asks its readers to tell us about their favorite places to eat in Central Connecticut. So turn on ESPN, and let's talk wings!

The Vernon folks are probably going to yell at me for this one, but the wings were really good at the old Big Tang Chinese restaurant.

My house - I have the Original Recipe from the Anchor Bar in Buffalo New York where they were created. Yes that's why they are called Buffalo Wings! I've perfected them over the 20 + years of cooking them and pair them with homemade Blue Cheese dressing from a Williams Sonoma cookbook. My kids love them and yes I am making them on Sunday - Go Giants!!!

Willington Pizza Too - they have big meaty wings, and they are crispy too. They use red hot and their blue cheese is homemade and the best. All their flavors are good, but hot is the way to go.
